Whether you envision yourself teaching a variety of important subjects to diverse elementary-aged students, focusing on teaching a single subject to middle and high school kids, or making a difference by teaching children with special needs, the NCU Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree completion program can help you complete your degree work for the teaching profession (Rio Salado transfers only).
This graduate-level certificate program gives you the opportunity to develop a specialty in the diverse education field. Areas of emphasis include Early Childhood Education, Human Performance and Coaching, K12 Policy, Community College Leadership, Training and Development and Teaching Internationally.
NCU offers two different track options for students who are interested in pursuing their online MEd and preparing for increased leadership responsibilities in K-12 or higher education. Options include a standard MEd track with 15 specializations to choose from, and an accelerated track MEd that can help you complete your degree in just one year.
In this post-master’s certificate program, you can expand your leadership skills and knowledge in a specific area of education. Education specializations include: Curriculum & Teaching, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, E-Learning, English Second Language, General Education, Global Training and Development, Instructional Leadership, International Education, Leadership in Higher Education, Organizational Leadership, Special Education and Sports Management.
Northcentral University has developed the Education Specialist (EdS) degree program for education professionals who desire to develop additional skills and knowledge beyond the master’s degree level. The EdS program offers students a chance to advance in their chosen field or to embark on a new career through a 33 credit hour course of study in selected specializations within the School of Education.
This applied doctoral degree emphasizes the application of theoretical knowledge to advance practice in the field of education. For this reason, the Doctor of Education degree program is a great option if you are an education professional looking to expand your leadership responsibilities in various areas of education, including colleges, PK-12 schools, proprietary organizations, private and public businesses, or the military.
If you are an education professional with the desire to teach in higher education, conduct educational research, or work in the area of educational research, the PhD in Education degree program at NCU is an excellent option for you.
